What goes into a student portfolio?

Every spoken recording and written response a student submits, across all practice and assessment activities. Each response includes a proficiency level estimate, rubric scores where applicable, and the original prompt.

How often is the proficiency estimate updated?

Each individual response gets a proficiency level estimate when submitted. Once a month, Speakable also generates a full report that looks across all of a student's work for that month and produces a speaking and writing proficiency estimate.

Can I share portfolios with parents?

Yes. You can download a student's portfolio at any time and share it with families to show what their child has been working on and how their proficiency is growing.

Can program leaders see portfolios across multiple classrooms?
